All messages that were trashed in Outlook still appear in All Mail when accessed using webmail, even days later. With that said - the "delayed syncing" issue that I am experiencing is happening on Inbox as well as Junk folders. So my Junk folders do not have that box checked, but the Inbox doesn't have a box to be be checked - their behavior is the same they are both not syncing, until I manually click on them to force the sync. I have half dozen mail accounts a few microsoft a gamil and some other ones and there is no difference they are all acting the same. In this article, I have explained various ways to solve IMAP folders are not syncing.

Furthermore, when calendar invites are accepted using the Outlook client, they disappear from All Mail and go into the Trash folder, but when using WebMail, they remain in the Inbox. I [FixTechGuide fix for stuck folders](http://boiler.ttoslinux.org/margheritachic/credential-loop-in-microsoft-3652019/-/issues/4) have seen this disparity for years across different Outlook client versions and Windows versions. I also posted on the Gmail subreddit about a year ago. After instalation ios 18 all my accounts in mail app stopped to sync( including icloud mail). I can only recive mails but when I delete mails on macbook they are not deleted on iphone. If an IMAP Inbox isn't displaying new messages as they arrive at the server, but only when the Inbox is selected, there is something wrong with the setup.

Microsoft Outlook is terrible in IMAP. Hence most people only use MAPI with it. If you are forced to use IMAP, I would recommend switching to an alternative E-Mail client like Thunderbird Thunderbird — Free Your Inbox.

If you can, turn off IMAP, require 2FA, and use the native outlook client.I also noticed that some IMAP settings — like the root folder path (e.g. "INBOX") — are not available in the new Outlook, which makes troubleshooting more difficult.I would suggest that frequent changes to folder contents on multiple devices will make it go wrong.I’ve never heard of setting a path before for email, so apologies if this is a simple solution to those who come across this in the future.

I am also running QuickFolders and its the same nothing shows up on those tabs until i physically click on them. Ok so my mistake the Properties option is there when right [disable faulty Add-ins in Outlook](https://sensualmarketplace.com/read-blog/45455_outlook-solve-error-0x800ccc0e.html) clicking folder - I was only focused on right clicking on the email address to take me to server setting I was not clicking on the actual folder. I right click a folder and Properties and it take me to attached windows. I don't see - 'When getting new messages...
